Becoming a Member of NPM

NPM is for Musicians - For those Responsible for Music Ministry, Clergy, Choir Directors, Campus Ministers, Military Musicians, Organists, Ministers Serving African American Communities, Hispanic Musicians, Cantors, Seminary Music Educators, Youth Ministers and Ensemble Musicians. NPM helps you keep up-to-date on your ministry. It offers practical advice. It brings you new ideas and offers the support of other professionals involved in the ministry of music.

NPM is for Clergy - NPM addresses the vital role clergy play in their liturgical music programs. NPM offers support to clergy who care about the liturgical life of their community.

NPM is for Both - The future of liturgical renewal depends on both clergy and musicians working together. Together, you shape the sound and tone of your celebrations. NPM helps you work together to make the ministry of music suit your local situation.

NPM is - A non-profit organization for professionals, for volunteers, for everyone who cares about the liturgical life of the Church. More than 9,300 musicians and clergy are actively involved in this important effort to foster the art of pastoral music.

Membership entitles you to receipt of the Newsletter, announcements of local (and some national) events of interest, discounts at locally sponsored events and association with the many music ministers in the greater Cleveland area.

Membership in the local chapter is not dependent on membership in the national organization; however, we strongly encourage all to become members in the national organization by going to www.npm.org and filling out the appropriate application.
