Part time position available in a vibrant 2000 family parish which values
both traditional and contemporary forms of music in our worship. Plan and
play music for 3 weekend Masses regularly and other parish sacramental and
liturgical celebrations. Must have excellent organ, keyboard and vocal skills,
be comfortable with a variety of musical styles and be able to develop/enhance
choirs and cantors. Applicant must have an extensive understanding of Catholic
liturgy and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
BA in music preferred and a minimum of 5 years experience.

Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church has an immediate opening for a choir accompanist (organ or organ/piano) for both rehearsals and Weekend Masses. Rehearsals are currently held on Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM, but can be changed to a different evening. Weekend Masses rotate between 4:30 PM on Saturday and 8:30 AM on Sunday, with an occasional 11:00 Mass on Sunday. Additional Mass accompaniment opportunities with a cantor rather than the choir are also available for the individual selected.
